The master cylinder is an extremely important element of the braking system of every car.
It is responsible for pumping the brake fluid through the brake lines, where the piston in the caliper is pushed out
which results in pressing the brake pads against the disc. Most often, the brake pump is controlled by a lever connected to the brake pedal.
This process is sometimes facilitated by a brake force booster, i.e. the brake servo.

The brake master cylinder must be efficient, because its failure may cause the brakes to malfunction, and therefore a serious hazard.
